VEGA LITTLE WONDER TENOR BANJO

This is a pre-war 19 fret Vega Little Wonder  in blonde maple with an ebony fret board and two piece resonator with four piece flange, built in 1930 as verified by the serial number: 90237 which is stamped on both the rim and the dowel stick. It has been refinished so looks amazing. All the parts are original except for the tailpiece which is a repro vintage presto tailpiece. The original tuners are Grover geared two tabs. It features the 'Little Wonder tone ring' which gives the banjo plenty of volume and cut for those noisy Irish music sessions.  New Remo head and Irish gauge strings have been fitted although this banjo would be equally at home producing jazz music with the appropriate strings fitted. I'm sorry I don't have a case for this but if it needs to be posted I'll pack it very well. Price: £750

Update: I have just acquired brand new hard case which fits this banjo  perfectly. Most new resonator banjo cases are too wide for the Vega resonator banjos so these are not easy to find. If you wish to purchase this case with the banjo I'll let you have it at the price I paid for it: £50. It will also fit the Vega Professional I have for sale so the same offer applies with that banjo (but I only have the one case so first come first served!)   The case is not for sale separately.
